Category OOB (Out Of Box)
What does OOB mean?
-Out of Box refers to the act of assembling a kit only from what is contained in the box supplied.
How do I join?
-To compete in this category, the model kit must be purchased on the actual day of the competition at the PlaMo counter. Each kit will cost BND$8.00. The kit is only to be
assembled
on site, within the given time frame 9:30 am – 5:00 pm. All completed
model kits are to be submitted latest by 5:00 pm.
-The last entry to enter the competition must be made before 4:00 pm.
-Completed entries are to be submitted to PlaMo counter. The entries will be displayed and judging with take place starting from 5:00 pm with the announcement of the winner at 5.30 pm.
-Only panel lining and Gumdam/LBX markers are permitted in this category.
-At the end of the competition, participants are allowed to take home the model kits they assembled.
-Participants are required to bring their own tools to assemble the kit as no tools would be provided.
-Any walk-individuals on the actual day of the competition are welcomed to participate once they have registered. However, registration is limited by the number of model kits available.
-For participants who register before the competition, a model kit would be reserved for them to purchase on the actual day of the competition. However, the choice of the model kit can only be made on the actual day and it is based on a first come first serve basis.
-Rules and regulations may be subject to change without further notice.
